Amber’s passion and love for performing arts just oozes out of her! She first started dancing at the young age of 2 ½ and has honestly not stopped since! After training at Breeze Academy of Dance growing up, Amber went on to train at Evolution Foundation College in Essex, after which she was awarded a scholarship to attend The Centre Performing Arts College in Kent. She gained an Accelerated Diploma in Performing Arts and Theatre Studies from her time at The Centre, where she specialised in Musical Theatre for 2 years. Amber is proud to have trained under the guidance of Carrie –Anne Ingrouille, Choreographer of Six the musical and Associate Choreographer at Hamilton the musical. Amber has also had the privilege to work closely with Stephen Mear and husband Mark Smith as well as West End Director Nigel West. Amber has covered a wide range of dance styles throughout her training including; ballroom, hip hop, ballet, disco, commercial, tap and many more.
Not only has Amber been performing for as long as she can remember, but she also has extensive teaching experience with all ages. Over the last 12 years, Amber has been teaching students across the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance) syllabus, with students achieving fantastic results training and being examined under her name. Amber is able to see the potential in all young people and use this to achieve wonderful results, both from a place of skill and confidence.
Amber is beyond proud to finally be a Principal within the network, after working at the amazing Razzamataz Medway for 3 years. During her time at the Medway school, Amber has helped to shape and enhance the curriculum, for the younger school in particular, whilst always going above and beyond to deliver incredible lessons with a first class service.
Amber has such a passion for building confidence and instilling self belief in young people and hopes to bring all of this and more with her to Razzamataz Bournemouth!
